This month I continued to heal from my procedure (January 2022) to alleviate the pain in my left shoulder and a bacterial eye infection.

I published my blog and videos about the World Literacy Foundation Ambassador Program in English and Urdu. This blog took 5 months to write and translate due to my painful shoulders.
I attended the Ethical Consumer Week online conference 2021 and wrote a summary of some of the sessions I attended.
I was chosen to attend the IKEA Lagom Live 9 month sustainability program.
I received my certificate for attending the Muslim Mental Health and Wellbeing Alliance Conference, Muslim Mental Health in an Unequal World.
For the second time I applied to participate as a World Literacy Foundation Ambassador with the World Literacy Foundation. My application was successful.

I raised awareness for World Day Against Child Labour and attended a few webinars.
The first webinar at the beginning of the month was 'Wave of Hope Crafting Session' with the Fairtrade Foundation UK and the Arts University Bournemouth teams and the second 'Preparing your Board Ready CV' with Lara Oyedele.

the first webinar was a round table discussion about Social Enterprise in the UAE. the second was about 'Periods in a Pandemic.'
This year The World Fair Trade Organization's campaign was called, 'BUILD BACK FAIRER.'
World Fair Trade Day 2021 was an opportunity to give visibility to the Build Back Fairer statement which has been endorsed by various international civil society networks.
I recorded two videos, one in English and one in Urdu.

was Sister of Ceremonies for the Encourager Party with World Pulse.
This month I continued to heal from all my surgeries, celebrated Fairtrade Fortnight 21 completed my 9th Six Items Challenge with Labour Behind the Label, and
participated in International Women's Day 2021 with The World Fair Trade Organization.
So here I am for the ninth consecutive year participating in the Six Items Challenge with Labour Behind The Label.
This year the challenge commences 17th February - 31st March 2021.
I have decided to participate and support the Six Items Challenge for the ninth year because I started to campaign for garment and factory workers while caring for my mother who had been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer.
The six items challenge means I choose six items of clothing to wear for six weeks.
This year I celebrated Fairtrade Fortnight 2021 alone shielding in London, UK.
This year the Fairtrade Foundation's campaign focussed on Climate Change.

2015 was an exciting time in my life as I worked to complete my first professional website.
With my friend and talented Creative Director Helen Barlow Scott, we worked diligently to design The Little Fair Trade Stamps which would be included in the launch of The Little Fair Trade Shop website Quarter 1, 2016.
In this blog I explain what each stamp means and introduce you to a fairtrade producer who has aligned their business to implement and promote a living wage, decent working conditions, transparency and accountability, empowerment, environmental sustainability, dignity and self respect for all.
During the last week of Ramadan, June/July 2016 on a hot bright sunny morning I took a flight to Beirut, Lebanon.
I'd never been to an International Fair Trade Towns Conference but was excited to know that I would be representing the United Arab Emirates.
During April/May of 2014 I decided to participate with Practical Action and the Live Below The Line 2014 UK campaign to highlight how 1 billion people around the world slept hungry every night and lived on less than one dollar a day.
The issue is one that is very close to my heart as my fairtrade work focuses on alleviating poverty.
