This November I continued to heal from my shoulder surgeries.
My right shoulder was very painful and inflamed due to the cold weather and I have struggled to type this blog.
I interviewed Halima of the Islamophobia Awareness Month team, London, UK and edited videos in English and Urdu.
Halima very kindly presented a talk about Islamophobia Awareness Month.

As a practising Muslimah who has experienced racism and discrimination due to my faith, I felt compelled to support the Islamophobia Awareness Month 2023.

This month I continued to heal from my shoulder procedure (January 2022) and learning to live with pain in my right shoulder.
I participated in several webinars the first being the November World Pulse Changemaker Lab Live webinar.
The second and third webinars were Zoom Webinars organised by the Interfaith Glasgow & Women's Environmental Network and World Pulse.
The World Pulse team had invited GoFundMe EU Director Elisa Liberatori Fioncchiaro to talk about the platform.
I wrote a blog in English and Urdu about Islamophobia Awareness Month.
The last webinar was about Fairtrade and Climate Justice hosted by the Fairtrade Foundation.
This is my humble effort to try to raise awareness for Islamophobia Awareness Month 2022.
November is Islamophobia Awareness Month
Congratulations on IAM's 10th anniversary and their perseverance and dedication to raise awareness about Islamophobia and eradicate hate and racism against Muslims in the UK.
However, the need for this organisation is a double edged sword, my question is why is Islamophobia awareness month still necessary?
