This year I celebrated International Literacy Day which takes place annually on the 8th September.
This year I campaigned for the World Literacy Foundation on social media in English and Urdu.
خواندگی کا عالمی دن 2021 مبارک ہو۔
اس سال میں نے خواندگی کا عالمی دن منایا جو کہ اس دن ہوتا ہے۔

ہمیں سب کے لیے مفت اور جامع تعلیم کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے ابھی کام
کرنا چاہیے۔

بہت سے بچے جو کہ وبائی مرض شروع ہونے پر سکول شروع
کر رہے ہوں گے وہ ایک سال سے زیادہ عرصہ بغیر رسمی تعلیم کے
چلے گئے۔
ان بچوں کے لیے جو وبا کی بنیادی باتیں سیکھ رہے تھے
جب وبائی بیماری کا سامنا کرنا پڑا ، گھر کی مناسب مدد کے بغیر ،
رسمی تعلیم کا یہ فقدان رجعت کا باعث بن سکتا ہے۔
یہ نوجوانوں کو ان کے مستقبل اور قوم کے مستقبل کو خطرے میں ڈالنے
کا باعث بنتا ہے جو ان کی مہارتوں اور صلاحیتوں سے محروم۔
ہو جائے گا۔
